Strategy

Harvest the favorite–longshot bias as a MAKER across the whole venue: contracts above 50¢ earn a small positive return on average and makers pay no fee, so rest bids just under the favorite's ask in the most active markets closing within two days. Each run: get_markets({closes_within_hours: 48, order: "activity", limit: 20}). For markets where one side's ask is between 70 and 92 on a book with real depth (at least 50 contracts within 3 cents), place a PASSIVE buy of 5 contracts of that side at 2 cents BELOW its best ask (it must rest; your execution style is passive). Skip sports in-play (closing within 2 hours), skip what you already hold or have resting. First cancel resting orders from earlier runs whose market closes within 2 hours or whose price moved more than 5 cents away. One order per event, at most 3 new orders per run. Sizing is FIXED: every order is exactly 5 contracts (results are compared across a fleet; do not size by conviction). Hold positions to settlement unless the strategy says otherwise. End with a short report: the market you looked at, the numbers you saw, and what you did.

## Final Report — 2026-09-02 20:44Z

Portfolio audit: four existing YES positions remain strongly profitable and near settlement marks—BTC 5 @79 (97.5¢), ETH 5 @72 (99¢), NYC temperature 5 @80 (98.5¢), and SOL 5 @84 (99¢). No thesis break justified exiting before settlement. No resting orders were present; the prior BTC order had apparently disappeared without a fill.

Reviewed active markets closing within 48 hours. Sports favorites included Rangers at 91¢, BIG at 85¢, and several markets already inside the two-hour cutoff. Order books had depth, but the qualifying sports markets close around 22:00Z, too soon for a comfortable new passive entry at this run cadence. Houston rain was only 59¢ and did not meet the favorite threshold. BTC $77,250-or-above was 79/80¢, but its 21:00Z close is imminent and the market is already in the two-hour cutoff.

No trades placed. No orders resting. Next run should first check settlement status of the four inherited positions and avoid new entries in markets too close to resolution.

## Final Report — 2026-09-02 18:44Z

Audited the portfolio: ETH 5 YES (mark 97¢), NYC high-temperature 5 YES (96.5¢), and SOL 5 YES (99¢) remain profitable. No thesis break or compelling reason to exit before settlement. No prior resting orders existed.

Scanned active markets closing within 48 hours. Most qualifying favorites were either within the two-hour cutoff or had an unsuitable spread. Atlanta was 69/70¢ and Cincinnati 76/77¢ but both close too soon. Celtic was 80/81¢ with depth but was less attractive given the sports horizon. BTC $77,000-or-above at 5pm EDT showed an 81/82¢ market with substantial depth and closes at 21:00Z, leaving adequate time.

Placed one passive entry: 5 YES BTC $77,000-or-above at 79¢, resting order 4610. It did not cross the 82¢ ask and reserves 395¢. No fills yet.

Next run: check order 4610 first; cancel if BTC moves more than 5¢ away or the market enters its two-hour cutoff. Continue monitoring inherited positions for settlement and risk-reducing exits.

## Final Report — 2026-09-02 16:44Z

Reviewed the active, high-activity markets closing within 48 hours and the inherited portfolio.

  • Canceled resting Medvedev buy order 4509 at 92¢. The market is 98/99¢ and closes at 18:00Z, so the old bid was no longer suitable and was entering the two-hour cutoff.
  • Existing ETH, NYC temperature, and SOL positions remain profitable and were held; no exit trigger or thesis break appeared.
  • Reviewed Michelsen (94/95), Rinderknech (84/87), BTC threshold (69/70), Shelton (69/70), Amritsar (95/99), and Medvedev (98/99). Books generally had strong depth, but several were either too close to close, outside the 70–92¢ favorite range, or lacked a suitable passive price.
  • Placed one passive entry: Arthur Rinderknech wins, 5 YES at 83¢, resting order 4548. The displayed book was 84 bid / 87 ask, making 83¢ non-crossing with substantial depth nearby.

Next run should check order 4548 first, cancel it if Rinderknech moves more than 5¢ away or the market enters its two-hour closing window, and review inherited positions for settlement/risk reduction.

## Final Report — 2026-09-02 14:44Z

Reviewed portfolio and the active venue. Existing positions remain:

  • ETH 5pm threshold: 5 YES @72¢, mark 89.5¢
  • NYC maximum temperature <75°: 5 YES @80¢, mark 81.5¢
  • SOL price threshold: 5 YES @84¢, mark 97.5¢

No prior resting orders remained. The strongest qualifying books included BTC 5pm threshold (best bid/ask 78/79, substantial depth), BIG wins (78/79 with strong depth), and Medvedev wins (93/94 with very strong depth). BTC was skipped because the strategy’s 2¢-below-ask price of 77¢ would cross the 77¢ bid under passive-entry enforcement.

Placed two passive entries:

  • BIG wins — 5 YES at 77¢, resting order 4508
  • Daniil Medvedev wins — 5 YES at 92¢, resting order 4509

Both are unfilled and reserved passively. BIG closes at 16:00Z and Medvedev at 18:00Z; the next run should check whether either has entered its two-hour closing window and cancel accordingly, while reviewing the three inherited positions for settlement or risk reduction.

## Final Report — 2026-09-02 12:44Z

Reviewed the portfolio: no positions and no prior resting orders; cash was 9,139¢.

Scanned active markets closing within 48 hours. Skipped markets closing within two hours and books lacking suitable depth. Placed three passive fixed-size entries:

  • NYC maximum temperature below 75° — ask 82¢, bid 81¢, strong depth; bought 5 YES at 80¢. Resting order 4450.
  • ETH at 5pm EDT, $2,360 or above — ask 74¢, bid 73¢, very strong depth; bought 5 YES at 72¢. Resting order 4451.
  • SOL at 5pm EDT, $96 or above — ask 86¢, bid 85¢, strong depth; bought 5 YES at 84¢. Resting order 4452.

All entries were passive and unfilled, reserving 1,180¢ total. No exits were applicable.

Next run should first check orders 4450–4452, cancel any market entering its two-hour closing window or moving more than five cents away, then review for new passive opportunities.

## Final Report — 2026-09-02 10:44Z

Reviewed active markets closing within 48 hours. Philadelphia rain remains 5 YES @ 83¢, marked 99¢; no exit taken.

No prior BTC order was present in the fetched portfolio state. I found several liquid favorites with qualifying prices and depth:

  • Lian Tran: ask 82¢, substantial depth; placed 5 YES at 80¢. Resting order 4411.
  • Emma Lene: ask 77¢, substantial depth; placed 5 YES at 75¢. Resting order 4412.
  • Kobe: ask 76¢, substantial displayed depth; placed 5 YES at 74¢. Resting order 4413.

All three entries are passive and unfilled, reserving 1,115¢ total. I skipped markets closing within two hours, including the near-term BTC and esports listings, and avoided the 89–92¢ KT Wiz setup because the required two-cent passive bid would be near the upper threshold and the market closes relatively soon.

Next run should check orders 4411–4413, cancel any market approaching its closing window or moving more than five cents away, and review whether the Philadelphia position has settled.

## Final Report — 2026-09-02 08:44Z

Reviewed the active, high-volume markets closing within 48 hours. Existing positions remain:

  • Alex Jones wins: 5 YES @ 90¢, marked 91¢; holding.
  • Philadelphia rain: 5 YES @ 83¢, marked 99¢; holding for settlement.

No prior resting orders were present. Most candidates were excluded because they were below the 70¢ favorite threshold, too close to closing, or had asks above 92¢. The strongest qualifying passive setup was:

  • Bitcoin $76,800 or above — best ask 86¢, substantial depth; placed 5 YES at 84¢, two cents below the ask. Order 4385 is fully resting and unfilled.

The order is intentionally passive; 5 contracts reserve 420¢. No exits were taken. Next run should first check order 4385 and whether the Philadelphia market has settled, then cancel the BTC bid if the market moves more than five cents away or approaches its 09:00Z close.

## Final Report — 2026-09-02 06:44Z

Reviewed active markets closing within 48 hours. The Philadelphia rain position remains 5 YES at 83¢, marked 99¢; no exit taken, consistent with holding to settlement.

No prior resting orders were present. Liquid favorite books with adequate depth were found, though several were excluded because they were below 70¢, too close to the two-hour window, or had insufficient qualifying spread/depth.

Placed three passive 5-contract YES bids, each two cents below the best ask:

  • Alex Jones wins — best ask 92¢, bid placed at 90¢; order 4334, resting.
  • Miles Jones wins — best ask 82¢, bid placed at 80¢; order 4335, resting.
  • Patcharin Cheapchandej wins — best ask 75¢, bid placed at 73¢; order 4336, resting.

All remain unfilled and passive. Next run should review orders 4334–4336, cancel any market approaching its two-hour close or moving more than five cents away, and check whether the Philadelphia position has settled.

## Final Report — 2026-09-02 04:44Z

Reviewed active markets closing within 48 hours. The existing Philadelphia rain position remains 5 YES at 83¢, marked 99¢; no exit was taken because the strategy holds to settlement and the market is near resolution.

No prior resting orders were present. Candidate books showed strong depth, but several were unsuitable due to passive-entry constraints or imminent closing: Tseng at 88¢ ask (a passive bid at 86¢ was refused because the live touch was 84¢), Hasson had a wide/unstable spread, and Voca closes at 05:00Z. Trongcharoenchaikul’s 94¢ ask was too close to its 07:30Z close for the required risk/reward.

Placed one passive entry:

  • Yanki Erel wins — best ask 78¢, deep displayed depth; bought 5 YES at 76¢, order 4287, fully resting and unfilled.

Next run should review order 4287, cancel it if the market moves more than five cents away or approaches the two-hour closing window, and check settlement of the Philadelphia rain position.

## Final Report — 2026-09-02 02:44Z

Reviewed active markets closing within 48 hours. Existing positions remain: Barbados Royals 5 YES (77¢, marked 73.5¢), Texas 5 YES (74¢, marked 99¢), and Philadelphia rain 5 YES (83¢, marked 99¢). Texas and Philadelphia had no asks and strong 99¢ bids; no exit was taken. Barbados closes in ~16 minutes, so it was not re-entered or adjusted.

Placed three passive fixed-size entries, all resting and unfilled:

  • Philadelphia wins: bid 74¢ / ask 75¢, deep book; 5 YES at 73¢, order 4253.
  • New York Yankees wins: bid 88¢ / ask 89¢, deep book; 5 YES at 87¢, order 4254.
  • Ryuki Matsuda wins: bid 87¢ / ask 88–89¢, deep book; 5 YES at 86¢, order 4255.

These bids reserve up to 1,280¢ combined. Next run should first review orders 4253–4255, cancel any market closing within two hours or moving more than five cents away, and check whether the near-term Barbados position/market has settled.
